EVENING EXERCISE DAY 16

This evening’s exercise begins with a prayer. Take a moment to sit in your meditation space and light a candle. In the stillness of this space, say the following prayer out loud:

Inner Guide, thank you for helping me release my false perceptions of my body I recognize that I have chosen wrongly, and today I choose to forgive that choice. I choose your loving voice to replace my ego’s fearful perceptions. I choose to let you guide me to use my body as a learning device for spiritual growth and service to the world.

Following this prayer, spend some time listening to your inner guide. Through meditation I’ll open you up to become conscious of your intuitive guidance and let your -ing come through you. Engage in the following guided meditation. After you meditation, sit in stillness and listen. Let your -ing step forward and lead you to a new body perception.

WILL-ING MEDITATION

  • Find a comfortable seated position in your mediation space.
  • Sit up straight with your palms facing upward.
  • Take a deep breath in through your nose and breathe out through your mouth.
  • Continue this cycle of breath throughout your meditation.
  • Breathe in: Inner Guide, I welcome your loving perspective to lead the way.
  • Breathe out: I release my ego now.
  • Breathe in: I am willing to perceive my body with love.
  • Breathe out: I choose to release my fear.
  • Repeat these mantras with each inhale and exhale.

Allow yourself to settle into these words, and trust that you’re awakening a connection to your inner guide.

Then sit in stillness and let the voice of spirit lead the way.

Result Day 16

Today was an interesting day. I found myself looking at my body more and having more negative thoughts about how I look. That being said, I did however use todays affirmation to help over come the feels I had about my body and it did help.

I am not sure if I just started to really look at myself because of this days exercise or if it was because I am now more aware of what I tell myself about my body because of this exercise.

I liked the meditation but I have used meditation for a while now and I love to do it, as I love the stillness that it brings. I had a feeling of love as I was meditating and I think that was my inner guide showing me that I am loved no matter what my body size is.

The other thing that I noticed was that I started to drink more water and less soda/pop and as I am a smoker I actually smoked less today and I did not have a craving for the smokes or the sugar. I am not sure why that is.

Let see if the same thing happens tomorrow. Happy change and unlimited happiness to everyone.
